LUCENA CITY, Quezon, Sept. 10 (PIA) --The Department of Education (DepEd) Division of Quezon is conducting massive information campaign to generate more enrolees in the Alternative Learning System (ALS) and 'open high school' program.
Dr. Catherine Talavera, assistant provincial division schools superintendent, said these programs are part of the  Aquino Administration's vision to provide free education to all.
"The main objective of  'open high school' program is to provide free high school to house helpers, school drop-outs and working youths so they could finish secondary schooling while working," Dr. Talavera said.
